SWUSC Freedom Fields’ Game Day Etiquette
Teams should be at their field of play 15 minutes before game time to check-in with the referees.
U5 & U6 teams and their respective coaches are the only ones to be in the neutral zone (area in between the two fields); all spectators should stay around the outside of the two fields.
U7 & U8 teams and their spectators should sit on opposite sides of their field.
Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their respective players, parents, and spectators.
Coaches should work with referees to educate players on the laws of the game.
SWUSC's U5/U6 and U7/U8 rules are posted on SWUSC’s website (swusoccer.org).
Coaches may speak with referees at halftime or after the game regarding any calls or game decisions.
Spectators should ask coaches about referee’s calls and decisions; they should not ask the referees themselves.
Abusive language directed toward referees or opponents is absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated!
Positive or negative feedback regarding referees should be directed to Ryan Frier (rfrier@kc.rr.com).
Positive or negative feedback regarding opponents should be directed to respective Boys (Mo Loridon) and Girls (Stephanie Moore) Commissioners.
Please clean up your sideline of water bottles and trash after each game.
