SWUSC is a non profit organization providing the opportunity for youth to play the “Beautiful Game” of soccer. Our Board of Directors are all volunteers. We would never want to turn away any child/player due to the inability to pay registration fees. With this in mind, SWUSC Board of Directors has adopted the following policy for financial assistance.

The Kansas State Board of Education has a mandated state wide policy which determines if a child/family is eligible for the reduced/free meal program. This eligibility is determined annually by every school district within the State of Kansas typically at the beginning of the school year. To determine eligibility, families must complete the required forms and submit necessary documentation to the child's school district. Once the school district determines eligibility and the level of eligibility, the school district will advise the family/guardian in writing accordingly. SWUSC will use this letter of eligibility to determine financial need.

Our goal has been to establish a financial aid policy which we could implement that would be fair and consistent to all. We feel we have accomplished that goal with this policy.

Items to consider when applying for financial aid:

1. Financial aid is applicable to registration fees only.

2. It is mandatory that the eligibility letter from the school district be applicable for the current school year. A copy of this letter will be maintained in club files with the Registrar.

3. Financial aid is limited. We will process on a first come first served basis. It is your responsibility to apply for financial aid prior to the beginning of every fall season for that year. Soccer season includes fall and spring.

4. Recreation will provide a uniform which may consist of shirt, shorts and socks. Age determines this.

5. Anyone playing competitive soccer who is eligible for financial aid must contact the FUSION Director. These teams operate independently and expenses vary from team to team. Fund raising is available to help you with these additional expenses.
